Village Theatre creates opportunities for young people in the Round Rock area to connect, create, perform, and belong. We partner with families, schools, businesses, artists, and local organizations to bring theatre experiences into the wider Round Rock community.
At Village Theatre, we believe theatre is more than a performance. It is a place where young people can find their people, build confidence, tell meaningful stories, and become part of something bigger than themselves.
We want to create spaces where students feel seen, supported, and challenged to build something incredible together. Through rehearsals, performances, community events, workshops, and partnerships, students learn that their voice matters and that their creativity can have purpose and impact.
As Village Theatre grows, we are looking for families, schools, businesses, artists, and community partners who want to help us build that kind of village, a place where young people can create, perform, belong, and make something meaningful together.
Village Theatre welcomes family and community volunteers for public events, booths, performances, workshops, and special projects. Volunteers may help with greeting families, running simple theatre activities, setting up materials, organizing costumes or props, supporting check-in, or helping us represent Village Theatre at community events.
All child volunteers must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Planning a community event, arts festival, family night, school celebration, or youth-focused gathering? Village Theatre can provide interactive theatre activities, creative games, information booths, short performances, or theatre-based experiences for children and families.
Some examples might include:
Family nights
Arts festivals
School events
Community celebrations
Library events
Youth organization events
Local business events
Village Theatre is always looking for community spaces where young performers can learn, rehearse, and create. Churches, schools, studios, community centers, libraries, and local organizations may be a good fit for classes, camps, workshops, rehearsals, or small performances.
Ideal spaces may include:
Open classroom, multipurpose room, studio, or fellowship hall
Safe drop-off and pickup area
Restrooms nearby
Space for movement-based activities
Availability for weekly classes, workshops, or short-term programs
Optional performance or presentation space
Businesses and community members can support Village Theatre by sponsoring events, providing materials, helping offset student costs, donating supplies, or partnering with us on community-based theatre opportunities.
Sponsorship support may help provide costumes, props, scholarships, event materials, performance supplies, or reduced-cost programming for families.
